Crafting the perfect cup is made easy, fast, and extra enjoyable with three ways to brew and three size options – 8-ounces, 10-ounces, or 12 ounces, all controlled with the push of a button. The unit is compatible with any brand of single cup pod, including Keurig K-Cup pods, and also offers the option of using the reusable filter cup to brew your own coffee.
The single-serve brewer boasts superior functionality, featuring a 48-ounce removable water reservoir that complements its charcoal water filter and removable drip tray, allowing for easy travel mug usage. The conical burr mill automatically grinds whole beans directly into the HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup, which is conveniently located in the storage compartment on the left side of the unit. The hopper holds 100-grams of beans, and the sealed lid keeps them fresh.
Simplifying your morning routine, the Grind & Brew Single-Serve Brewer by Cuisinart® allows you to fill the tank with ease, thanks to the easy-view water window, and brew a single serving with freshly ground beans or your favorite pod.
It's important to note that the quality of the brew can be affected by factors such as grind size, coffee amount, and tamping pressure. Too coarse a grind, too little coffee, or insufficient tamping of the grounds before brewing can all lead to inadequate pressure for a proper brew. Additionally, the amount of espresso extracted may vary depending on the grind size and amount, and reprogramming may be needed when these parameters are adjusted.
